We are a young entrepreneurial couple. Vania is a Peruvian born with an MBA in business strategy and Peter is a software engineer from Belgium. A couple of years ago, we were invited by a friend to visit him around the Caspian Sea and discuss some business. When we were there, we visited the family caviar farm. We got to know the caviar product well and were enamored by the history and the product itself. The whole process from fish to caviar is fascinating. The company has a great interest in the Inca’s process of salt curated foods.

We have been looking at integrating salt from Peru into the caviar making process, which will bring the caviar back to its origins. Originally, the Persians collected the fish eggs on the Kura River, but the tradition of salting fish roe for consumption originated in China. There is an unknown link in these processes between Inca’s and China.

Whilst working on this, we have been looking at the magnificent world of caviar. Therefor by strategically sourcing from various farms, we curate a diverse and high-quality caviar selection for the European market. This approach not only ensures premium products but also allows us to offer a range of flavors and textures. From this Caviar Elegance is founded. We want to bring the best caviar to Europe and capture the essence of exclusivity and craftsmanship.
