Osetra Caviar is the second caviar in order of exclusivity, just behind Beluga caviar. Among the main differences is the size, Osetra Caviar is a little bit smaller than the rest.
Color: light gray in color, with golden reflections and very aromatic
Taste: nutty and fruity flavour with a slight briny taste. It has a firmer texture and a stronger aftertaste
Size: 2.1 - 3.0 mm'
Osetra Caviar, also called Oscietra or Asestra, comes from one of the sturgeon varieties native to the Caspian Sea. These fish have a medium dimension. They can reach two meters in length and weigh between 40 and 100 kilos, in some cases. It has a large snout and feeds on other fish, crustaceans, and algae.
Our caviar is prepared by 3 Iranian chefs that were also the original chefs of the government owned company SHILAT at the Caspian Sea in Iran. Due to the preparation methods, process and experience that goes back to their routes at the Caspian Sea, our chefs can guarantee the finest and highest quality in the world.
